Active Matter Safe Containers
Safe containers are the containers in Active Matter that keep their contents safe — a key part of the loot rules.
Safe containers appear throughout the official store editions of Active Matter as starting equipment (Small and Medium Safe Containers). They are containers that protect their contents — the exact death rules are partly published through the game's descriptions and partly still HOLD.
What the editions include
| Edition | Safe containers |
|---|---|
| Standard | 10 × Small safe container |
| Advanced | 20 × Small safe container |
| Premium / Elite Squad | 20 × Small + 10 × Medium safe container |
What survives when you die
- Items placed in safe containers are protected — that is their stated purpose.
- Other loot you carry is at risk when you die in a raid; the exact rules are explained on the Death & Lost Gear page.
- The developer has not published an official table of every container's protected size (HOLD).
